...Abito ad Albagiara da oltre 45 anni. Il modo di trascorrere le giornate quando noi eravamo piccolini era completamente diverso da quello dei bambini di oggi. Sto parlando della fine degli anni Sessanta. Allora i bambini giocavano nelle campagne, nei cortili intorno alle case, c'era un contatto con la natura e con l'ambiente molto forte, diciamo quotidiano. I bambini di oggi hanno difficoltà a riconoscere le specie animali più semplici presenti nel nostro territorio. Sono molto più esperti di noi nell'uso del computer e dei telefonini, strumenti importanti nella vita contemporanea, però il fatto di non aver avuto delle esperienze, da un punto di vista culturale e ambientale, con le risorse che caratterizzano il nostro territorio ha fatto svanire il senso di appartenenza e di identità legato alla nostra terra…

...I’ve lived in Albagiara for over 45 years. The way we spent the days when we were very small was completely different from that of children today. I’m talking about the end of the Sixties. Then children played in the fields, in the courtyards around the houses, and there was a very strong link with nature and with the environment, one might say on a daily basis. Children today find it difficult to recognize the simplest animal species present in our area. They are much more expert than we are in using a computer and mobile phones, which are important tools in modern life, but the fact that they have not had experience, from a cultural and environmental point of view, with the resources that are a feature of our area have removed the sense of belonging and identity linked to our land…
