…Sarebbe bello se fra due o trecento anni si potrà parlare ancora di Allai… Mi auguro che chi verrà dopo di noi sia ancora più bravo, che persegua la strada che abbiamo iniziato in questi anni, che il paese diventi ancora più carino, che si possa cambiare il trend negativo di nascite e decessi… chissà, magari tornare ai seicento abitanti che eravamo cinquant’anni fa.

…It would be lovely if in two or three hundred years’ time people can still be talking about Allai… I hope those who come after us will do even better, that they continue on the path we’ve started off on in recent years, that the village will become even prettier, and that the negative trend of births and deaths can change .. who knows, maybe go back to the six hundred inhabitants we had fifty years ago.
